Is it real or is it Lego? Issues of scale are addressed as the realism inherent in the tiny models is subverted by the blocky, almost pixelated blocks of the Lego. Shot on a pilgrimage to Legoland in Billund, Denmark, everything is made of Lego: towns, waterways, canals, airports, as well as the town of Amsterdam. Nostalgia and childhood memories as well as the simulacrum of image and real are explored in this nine-part split screen film.
